Boston Pro Builders is a general contractor whose customers wrote about everything from a fire restoration to a custom mailbox set on a metal I-beam. BuildZoom lists the company at 154 E Central St. in Natick and names Ruy Barbosa as its owner; on Houzz the company says it has 22 years of general-contracting experience in Massachusetts and New York. BuildZoom lists Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor #196308, and Houzz lists licence cs 085893. Its written reviews all date from 2017 to 2020. In a July 2019 Houzz review, a property owner wrote that after a large fire at one of their properties, the company fully restored the house quickly and professionally. A January 2019 Houzz customer hired them for a custom mailbox that needed metal fabrication and breaking through pavement to set an I-beam post, and said they were flexible and finished quickly. A February 2020 Houzz reviewer said the job finished sooner than expected and credited the project manager with keeping it under control. On Angi, a September 2017 customer said Ruy and his crew installed a vinyl fence, removed a sliding door and patched drywall and shingles, with one criticism: little prep to limit dust inside the house, which the crew addressed after the first day. The one serious complaint is a December 2017 Angi review. That customer wrote that the company's workers took $83 of their equipment, that a worker arrived drunk and broke a pipe under the bathroom sink, and that a promised refund never came; the reviewer warned against paying before work is complete. The company's BBB grade is B-, with one complaint on file.
Working with Boston Pro was a pleasure! There were never any problems; communication was excellent; quality of the work was top notch; and everything was completed as scheduled. In fact, the job ended up taking less time than we all anticipated, and the result was exceptional. Their communication with clients is excellent. Our project manager kept everything under control and was a great problem-solver. It was nice to work with people who are so good at thinking outside the box.
Boston Pro Builders performed a series of repairs in my client’s Boston apartment. They did an excellent job and delivered a high quality work in a very reasonable time frame. They always took my calls and responded to my additional requests in a very professional manner. I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for professional and quality general contractor work.
Excellent experience and outstanding outcome working with BPB on our project. We couldn't be happier with the end result. We will work again soon.
I had a huge fire incident take place at one of my properties, Boston Pro Builders, fully restored my house in a very professional and expedited way. I would moat certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a great General contractor
I hired Boston PRO Builders for a custom mailbox installation that required some metal fabrication-- it was not a standard install-- they also had to break through pavement to set the post (a metal I-beam). I couldn't be happier with the work they did, they went above and beyond-- they were flexible and completed the job very quickly. They were polite and professional and it was nice to work with them-- I won't hesitate to call them again in the future.
