Boulanger’s Plumbing & Heating describes itself on its website as a plumbing and HVAC company serving Western and Central Massachusetts. A 2024 customer said the company installed a new furnace, restructured old ductwork that was hanging and fitted a new plenum. A 2025 customer said a Boulanger plumber installed a new toilet as part of a Re-Bath bathroom remodel. A 2025 customer said the company installed two bathrooms in existing spaces, that it got harder to get them to do a job as the project went on, and that the heating quote was overpriced. A 2026 customer said a plumber could not fix a minor toilet leak, and that another company fixed it later the same day. A 2026 customer with a flooded basement said a promised call back about when a plumber would arrive never came. Its Massachusetts HVAC licence, number 2015-000118-SM-PMT, is expired on the state registry.
“Boulanger’s out of Easthampton have done excellent work for us.”
“Maintenance work was the collective effort of the Easthampton Parks & Recreation maintenance staff, lifeguards, the Department of Public Works, McKenney Electrical, Whitely Electric, and Boulanger’s Plumbing & Heating.”
I am, emmensely, disappointed in Boulanger's Plumbing. I had a flooded basement due to a sump pump installed by them. I called and the young lady told me that she would get right back to let me know when a plumber would arrive. I never heard back. To top it off, I called Jason the next day and he left a message apologizing saying no one seems to have received that message or misplaced it. I wish that I had asked for her name. I called back, John answered and said Jason would call back when he ended his phone call. He never called back! Is this how you do business? I will never use your services again and will never recommend you. Remember....bad new travels faster than good!
Very nice people to work with , and friendly. They do a good job , and cleanup everything .my new water heater is working great.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Had a minor leak from a toilet, called Boulanger's. Plumber came out and could not fix the leak. They put in a new water closet flange and said I needed to get a professional snake because there was a clog. I called Fletcher's sewar and drain. He came later the same day, took the toilet off, fixed it easily! He said, "I'm not a plumber but I can tell you that whoever did this work did a horrible job. This is a no brainer!" He went ahead and snaked the drain with a camera, all the way to the city sewar. Drains were clear with ZERO blockages. Toilet works great now but this cost me an additional 350.00 on top of the 191.33 I had to pay Bouanger's. Seriously, if the plumber can't do the work that the NOT plumber from Fletcher's than what good are they!?
Today, Re-Bath used Boulanger to install a new toilet as part of a bathroom remodel. Boulanger plumber, Naima Matos, did a fantastic job installing the new toilet. She even repaired work that was not done properly by a prior plumber years ago. She is a hard worker and a definite asset to Boulanger.
Great group of guys. TLDR: Boulanger’s is big and very busy, so if you use them, please be patient. I would not recommend them for anyone in the Hilltowns. Local to Easthampton, yes. Review: Jason, the owner is very personable. We had Boulanger’s do a full new installation of two bathrooms into existing spaces. We also got a quote for Heating and Ventilation. The work done by Journeyman, Josh, was 5 stars. If you get Josh, you will receive A++ work. My 4-start rating is from the management of the project. I’m gonna chalk my experience up to my own poor GC management (I was the GC), however the experience wasn’t improved by Boulanger’s. We are in the Hilltowns so I understand that it’s not most accessible but the further along in the project we got, the harder it was to get them to do a job. As we got to finishing, we had Josh come up multiple times for maybe an…hour…at a time before he was called off to do another job. Regarding their heating and cooling, we never ended up going with them because everything was extremely overpriced. They quoted $30,000 on a heating system for a 700 square-foot apartment.
