BOURKE REMODELING

Bourke Remodeling & Home Improvements is a frame-to-finish residential remodeler in Stoughton, MA, run by Erick Bourke, who works with a longtime second hand named Tom. The company describes itself as serving Stoughton and nearby towns with interior remodeling, additions and exterior upgrades; the BBB, Angi and HomeAdvisor all put it at 18 years in business. It holds an A+ grade and accreditation with the Better Business Bureau, BuildZoom shows a Massachusetts Construction Supervisor licence (CS-114751) as active in August 2026, Angi and HomeAdvisor list a Massachusetts trade licence (#163051, expiring April 2028), and the company's own site says it is a registered Home Improvement Contractor and certified for lead-safe work. Kitchens and bathrooms are what people come back for. Angi shows a 5.0 from 28 reviews (mirrored on HomeAdvisor), and the written reviews run from 2017 to late 2025 with only one four-star among them. Repeat customers are a theme: in a May 2025 review a homeowner described several projects including a kitchen remodel, a masonry rebuild and roofing a new shed; in 2023 a client on their third project called the kitchen results breathtaking; a 2020 reviewer said Erick and Tom had worked on their 100-year-old home for over a decade; and 2022 reviewers mentioned a barn restoration, a basement dog shower and a master bedroom closet. Bathrooms recur too, with a kids' bathroom finished on time in 2024, two bathrooms remodeled in early 2024, and a den and bathroom remodel in 2023. The qualities reviewers name are consistent across the years: showing up on time and every day, attention to detail, an organized site left clean, and easy communication. In a December 2021 review one homeowner said Erick's estimate came in 20 percent below some of the three other bids they collected. The most recent review, from October 2025, again names Erick and Tom as efficient and kind and knowing exactly what had to be done. The town of Stoughton lists the business among its contractors at 24 Lewis Road. Bourke is a strong choice for a South Shore homeowner planning a kitchen, bathroom or basement remodel, an addition, or a run of smaller carpentry projects, particularly if you want a small crew you can work with repeatedly. Confirm the licence numbers against the state registry and get a written scope and schedule before starting.
