Generators keep coming up. Boyle Electric works out of the Tyngsboro–Chelmsford corner of Massachusetts, and in recent Google reviews three customers describe a Generac or standby generator installed at their homes, while a fourth had Jimmy come by for generator maintenance after he texted about an open timeslot. The company says it has been in business seven years, lists Groton, Westford, Littleton, Tyngsboro and Chelmsford as its service area, and states it offers 24/7 emergency service. The names customers mention most are Bryan, who answers the phone and comes out to quote, and Jimmy, the technician who keeps getting credited for explaining what he is doing and why. One July 2026 reviewer watched Jimmy troubleshoot a beeping water heater, get it running again and show them the clip from the manufacturer's web page before leaving. When a truck ripped the service wires off a house in June 2026, the crew was there in half an hour and power was back in less than an hour, that customer wrote. The work goes well past swapping fixtures. A September 2026 customer had two outside receptacles added, an attic whole-house fan disconnected, an attic light and receptacle installed and a $1,000 hanging light hung, after Boyle had earlier wired three mini splits and an instant hot water system. Another installed a heating system for a pool and moved the schedule up for a pool party. In an August 2025 review, Steve Larios and Junior upgraded a tree-damaged 100-amp service to 200 amps with a new mast and panel; in a 2023 review, a Tyngsboro customer described a 100-to-200-amp change-out with a generator interlock and a 220 line run to a hot tub through a finished basement. A 2024 customer had an EV charger wired in. Google shows 5 stars from 407 ratings. The one complaint is a 2★ review from September 2025: the customer said a panel upgrade took two months although the work itself took two people six hours, and that the company demanded the $4,500 in full on the first day of work.
