Breton Contracting is a Winthrop roofing outfit whose whole written history is two reviews, posted on the same day in May 2024. They are worth reading anyway. One customer that year — a single woman homeowner, as she put it — wrote that he did what he said he would when he said he would, did not try to rip her off, and left her feeling respected. The other called the company well managed and the work clean and fast. Roofing is all its Thumbtack profile lists: full and partial replacements, repairs and maintenance, and installs on new construction. Five employees are behind it, and Thumbtack has run a background check on Hakima Amrani. The tenure figures on that profile don't agree with each other — the overview says eight years in business while the company's own answers claim fifteen years of roofing experience. Worth a direct question if longevity matters to you. Two reviews on a single platform, both two years old, is a thin basis for a decision, so read the 5.0 as encouraging rather than settled. If you call, ask what roofs they've done locally since 2024 and get the scope and the price in writing before anyone gets on the ladder.
