Brian Blanchard Home Impprovement

Brian Blanchard Home Improvement, working out of Mansfield, shows up in Massachusetts town permit records as a window installer — 218 permitted jobs since 2018, almost all custom triple-glazed vinyl double-hung replacements, with a handful of commercial aluminum units, a patio door, and some blown-in insulation and weatherstripping mixed in. That's a different picture than the kitchen-and-bath remodeling menu BuildZoom prints for the company, which reads like generic directory boilerplate rather than a description of the work actually pulled. The licensing picture is messier than clean. BuildZoom's own pages disagree with themselves: an elevator mechanic licence and a Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration (#126166) are marked inactive and cancelled on one listing, while a separate BuildZoom page claims the company currently holds all five of its licence numbers active — including duplicate numbers reused across unrelated trade types. Only the Construction Supervisor licence, #CS-094321, carries BuildZoom's own 'verified' badge, which is BuildZoom's own check rather than a state registry confirmation. Anyone considering this company for window work should ask directly which licence numbers are current and confirm the home improvement contractor registration status before signing anything — the permit trail backs up the trade, but the paperwork BuildZoom shows doesn't hang together on its own.
