The most substantial thing known about Brian Zaneski Construction isn't a review — it's a permit history. BuildZoom puts 49 permitted projects under the West Newbury builder's name, seven of them in the last three years, with a typical permit valued around $26,500. That reads as a small, steady residential operation rather than a crew chasing large jobs. Reputation is where it goes quiet. Across both directory profiles there is exactly one customer review, and it is several years old — positive, but far too little and too old to say how the work lands today. HomeAdvisor's profile self-reports ten years in business and lists doors, home improvement and remodeling as the work offered. Treat the credentials as unconfirmed for now. BuildZoom lists a Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration and a construction supervisor licence for him, but those are that site's own records, so look both numbers up with the state before you sign anything. For a smaller remodel or repair where you're willing to do your own homework, the permit trail is the useful part here — it shows real, recent, inspected work in the surrounding towns. Ask for two or three recent job addresses and the homeowners' numbers; with a review history this thin, references you gather yourself are worth more than anything posted online.

Brian was awesome came to meet us on way home from work on a Friday night still spent time with us to know what we wanted. Started job 2 weeks earlier then we expected. Didn t want payment till he was finished and we were satisfied. When he came to do final walk through and get payment we had questions about a few other projects he stayed and spent time answering them again on a Friday night! He is professional and courteous.
