Bridey Design & Development LLC

Bridey Design & Development is a design-build outfit in Somerville: the same firm draws the renovation, renders it in 3D and then builds it. The work is residential — Boston-area houses, from historic New England stock to modern remodels — with general contracting and project management under the same roof. Bridget Henson founded the firm and runs it. She studied Art & Design at Northeastern and worked for several design firms before moving into interior design and residential construction; the firm describes itself as female-owned and counts ten years in business. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #208363, is active on the state registry. A fit if you want the design and the construction on one contract rather than hiring an architect and a builder separately — an older Boston house that needs drawings before demolition is exactly that job. Ask to see renderings alongside the finished rooms from a project like yours, and settle how the design fee and the construction contract fit together before signing.
