GREEN HOME IMPROVEMENT

Green Home Improvement is a one-person shop run by Vladan Stamenkovic — known to customers as Vlad — out of Watertown, serving homeowners, landlords and property managers across towns like Newton, Cambridge, Brookline and Boston. He says on the company's site that he completes every job himself, without subcontractors. The reviews back that up with specifics: a same-day fix for a loose kitchen faucet, a sink swap with an upfront price and easy scheduling, and a Boston apartment paint job — patched holes included — finished on a tight deadline he made time for. One customer who has hired him at two different properties calls out his attention to detail on jobs of any size. Across 14 Google ratings the average is a perfect five stars, with a steady run of five-star reviews through the summer. As a solo operator, scheduling around a single person's calendar is worth asking about up front, especially for a bigger job. He's a solid call for the kind of quick-turnaround repairs and small remodeling work — a faucet, a door frame, a patch-and-paint — that reviewers keep describing; for anything larger, confirm the timeline and get the scope in writing before he starts.
