Bright Expert Construction Inc

Bright Expert Construction, led by CEO Gleidson Costa De Sousa, says on its own site that it works kitchen remodeling, interior renovation, and outdoor home-improvement jobs around Boston, tracing its roots to a paint job on a Boston rental unit in the late 1990s. In a 2023 Thumbtack review, a customer said they couldn't have selected a better contractor than Gleidson and his team to get the job done during what they called a stressful and turbulent time. A 2025 Thumbtack review told a different story: the reviewer said the company never responded to their request, either through Thumbtack or the phone number in its auto-response. Thumbtack's own tally — 3.0 stars from two ratings, split evenly between five-star and one-star — lands right between those two accounts. Google separately shows a 5.0-star rating from seven ratings. The company's site claims 20 years in business, but Thumbtack's profile lists seven years — worth asking about directly. Confirm current availability and get a firm quote and timeline in writing before booking, especially given the mixed response history.
