Buchanan Custom Builders

BuildZoom shows 18 permits for Buchanan Custom Builders. Steve Buchanan says he founded the family-owned company in 1993 after 13 years on the Deck House construction team; the company describes a residential mix that includes Deck House homes, additions, kitchens and bathrooms, decks and railings, windows, and doors. The written Google reviews are dated: in 2019, a customer praised Steve and his team's Deck House knowledge and said getting work done was a fun experience; a 2017 reviewer left a five-star note about quality and service. Google currently lists five stars from five ratings. A 2017 Construction Dive item also described the company's design of a custom storage shed in Massachusetts, a specific but older example of its work. BuildZoom places the business in Carlisle, while Houzz and Exa describe it as being in Bolton. Confirm its current location and service area when discussing a project. BuildZoom lists Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor number 112711 as active, and the company website gives the same number; check the current registration with the state before relying on a directory listing. This looks like a possible fit for homeowners seeking custom home remodeling or Deck House experience. Ask for recent comparable projects and references, since the written customer comments available here date from 2017 to 2019, and confirm the scope and registration details before booking.
