Budget Overhead Door has been fixing and installing garage doors on the North Shore since 1995, run by John out of Peabody with Eric handling much of the installation work reviewers describe by name. Same-day and after-hours calls show up again and again: one customer's door sprang stuck open and Budget arrived the same day after hours, and a 2025 review describes a broken spring replaced the same day after several other companies never answered the phone. Eric is credited in a 2022 review with untangling a door that had been poorly installed by someone else, fixing it within a few hours, and in another, with installing a second garage door opener and programming the keypad and remotes so both doors matched. One longtime customer says Budget has serviced their garage door for 18 years. The one review that isn't a full five stars, from 2024, is still positive — it simply says the repair held up well. Everything else on file, back to 2021, is five stars. For a garage door repair, installation, or opener upgrade on the North Shore, Budget Overhead Door is a strong, dependable choice with a long track record — same-day service comes up often in reviews, but confirm response time for your situation when you call.
I called budget overhead door for an estimate and John came the following day . I expected to call other door companies but after speaking with John for about an hour decided to go with budget. My new door was installed by Eric who is very good at his job and takes pride in his work. The job was completed in hours and looks great. I'd recommend budget if you're interested in getting a new garage door or need service.
John and Eric were fantastic as they came to fix my door quickly as I had to get out for a medical appointment! They were very professional and efficient! 5 star plus and will definitely recommend budget overhead door to friends and family!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review I had an excellent experience with Budget Overhead Door. John, the owner, was professional, knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. He took the time to explain all my options, gave me a fair and honest price, and made sure the job was done right. The installation was quick, clean, and the quality of work was outstanding. It’s rare to find someone who truly cares about their customers the way John does — he stands by his work and delivers great service from start to finish. I highly recommend Budget Overhead Door for anyone needing garage door repairs or installation. You can count on John for honesty, reliability, and top-quality results.
