Building Inspector of America is a Sutton-based home inspection business run by Steve Ducharme. Written feedback is sparse but positive. A 2026 reviewer, buying their first home, said Steve and his colleague John did a phenomenal job inspecting the property, walking the buyers through everything they found along with background on the home's age and history. An older, one-word 2023 review simply called the experience "brilliant." With only two reviews on file, it's worth asking for a sample inspection report and confirming availability directly before scheduling.
As a soon to be first time home owner, I cannot recommend Steve enough. Him and John did a phenomenal job inspecting the property, and explained everything to my husband and I along the way. They also provided so much knowledge regarding the year of our home, the history, and what we need to know as first time homeowners in order to care for it properly. He and John truly went above and beyond, ensuring my husband and I knew exactly what to expect with this home, and as new home owners. You can tell they care for their clients, and that makes all the difference.
