Cape Softwash

The line that sticks in Cape Softwash's reviews comes from a July 2023 job on a worn 40-plus-year-old cape home: the original cedar shingle color was back. That is the work — an Eastham business that cleans house exteriors at low pressure instead of blasting them, covering house washing, roof cleaning, window cleaning, gutters and pressure washing, with a separate junk-removal service alongside it. The company says it started in 2015 out of a 2011 Honda CR-V, built around soft-washing as the safer alternative to high-pressure work. Seven Google reviews run from 2021 through 2026, five stars across them. Jason is named in four. The 2023 homeowner who wanted a tired-looking cape livened up wrote that the result went past what they expected, and credited Jason with answering every question asked along the way. The newer work described is the same kind of job on different surfaces: a June 2026 review covers decks, a shower and a pergola looking new again, with the attention to detail singled out. A May 2025 customer was surprised at how quickly they were fit into the schedule and said the cottage looked brand new afterward. Scheduling comes up repeatedly in the older ones — a December 2021 gutter job where he called and showed up when booked, and two June 2022 reviews describing a professional, on-time crew. Good call for a Cape house with weathered shingles, an algae-streaked roof or gutters that need clearing, especially if you would rather not have high pressure aimed at old cedar. Before booking, pin down which surfaces the quote covers — the house, the roof, the windows and the gutters are listed as separate jobs — and ask for a certificate of insurance.
