A replacement deck, a stairway to the second floor, and a bathroom cabinet: one recent customer described hiring Dusty at Carters Custom Carpentry for all three, saying he stayed on budget and was easy to work with. Another Google reviewer praised his honesty and work ethic. Google lists a 5-star average from three ratings. The company describes itself as a one-carpenter shop in Littleton, New Hampshire, serving the White Mountains and North Country. Its website says it is veteran-owned and offers custom furniture, built-ins, finish carpentry, decks and outdoor structures, framing, remodels, additions, and general carpentry repairs. It names nearby communities including Bethlehem, Franconia, Sugar Hill, Lisbon and Whitefield, along with Hanover and Waterville Estates. The stated process starts with an in-person site visit before a written quote. The company says the same carpenter handles the work from the first walk-through to the final finish.

Dusty is fantastic! He's honest, personable, and a very hard worker. The kind of person you feel good paying to work on your project. A lot of people will throw on a tool belt and say they're a carpenter if they think it'll make them a buck. Dusty is a true master of his craft and you can see the love he puts into his work. I wouldn't call anyone else.
Easy to work with, stayed on budget, beautiful work! Dusty replaced a deck and stairway that goes to the second floor of my home, built a cabinet for my bathroom. Very happy with his work and overall very pleased having Carter’s Custom Carpentry as a contractor!
