In September 2026 a visitor staying in the area for a week dropped off one bag of garbage at Casella's Richmond site for three dollars and called it fast and easy. Casella describes its Richmond transfer station at 80 Rogers Ln as a drop-off point where materials are collected, consolidated and transported out for processing or disposal, and its website cites 50 years in business. In a September 2024 review, a customer asked the station to be open 7 days a week. A November 2023 reviewer called the place lovely and said they get by with its limited schedule. In June 2026 a 1-star reviewer said Casella is very slow to pick up the phone. In a May 2023 review, a pickup customer said the company skipped their garbage, and when the truck came back it spread the garbage across their front yard after hours. Google shows 3.3 stars from 6 ratings.
