Castle Builders

Castle Builders put a new roof on my house in September and I am very pleased with the end result. Derek helped me in my color choice and I am so happy he did because it looks great!

I recently had Castle Builders replace a roof at one of my properties. Throughout the entire experience Derek and his team were incredible to work with. The quote process was fast and pricing was very fair and reasonable which was an important consideration for me. The house was built in 1870 and the existing roof was in terrible shape. Castle Building took great care in addressing all of the existing issues as they replaced the roof and did things the right way. I would highly recommend using Castle, you will not be disappointed!

Derek and team were very thorough, and accomodating. . They took a 3 season pitch down from one trailer and assembled it on mine. It was a tough job because they had to move aveeck and deal with raiding the trailer to make it work with the door of the camper. I would recommend castle builders for any job you need done. They were amazing and I’m very happy with the work they did

Derek & Castle Builders delivered on my basement renovation BIG TIME! Unfortunately, I have to give them a 5 star rating, only because 6 stars was not an option. I gave Derek my vision and plan and it was executed with precision, down to the most minute detail of filling nail holes underneath my stairs (ones that no one would ever notice). The carpenter was a true craftsman, professional and his work was top notch. Triple checked work, safe, and cut to maximize area. After they left I would often go down stairs and measure things four or five times with different instruments as if I were Sam Rothstein from the movie Casino. All I found was that it was better than I imagined. The framework behind the walls gave me so much peace of mind and that is so important, knowing that the bones are sound. All the closet doors open and close smoothly and soft. The shelving is sturdy and perfectly spaced according to what I wanted. They were on time, professional, and took care of our property. Nothing ever went missing, our home was in great hands. The railing and trim work was so on point I couldn't think of hiring anyone else in the future. My stairs are now twice as strong, the stain work between the stairs, railing, trim work and custom sliding door are gorgeous and all match perfectly. If I ever asked Derek to go over something one more time, they did. Every door knob, light, outlet, etc is exactly where I wanted it and how I imagined it would be. My billiard room is classy and all I get is compliments. We actually had a pipe burst and it all got ruined, my basement flooded, the project needed to be redone. Derek had his team redo the basement and it came out BETTER! Castle worked with the insurance company and the town about permits that I needed. Derek is a great person and I've referred other people to him. I had him custom cut rails, billiard cue holders, and other things and everything is amazing. I asked Derek to pick out a storm door for me and he picked out a beautiful one and installed it himself. It is a great install, no leaks or leveling issues, it fits like an original puzzle. My project with Castle Builders was started two years ago and I forgot to write a review. I feel today just as though I did when I originally saw the finished product, like a kid at Christmas getting his favorite present. I wish I had more projects to hire him for because I know they would come out awesome. Equally important, Derek is a good person that is professional and relatable. Also, I know that my half basement renovation is a much smaller project than what Castle Builders probably typically does. I never felt as though I wasn't worth their time. Many contractors would dump a smaller project to take on the big one but that never happened to me. I was treated with respect and courtesy. Every person that he had at my home was professional and right for the job. Castle Builders isn't the most expensive builders out there, and they aren't the cheapest. If you hire the cheapest you will get what you pay for. Do yourself a favor and call Castle Builders so you don't shoot yourself in the foot. When I can take on a new project I am calling them back. We are very pleased with all of the work we had done by Derek and his team. We had a hard time finding a contractor that would either return our calls for a consultation or even respond after doing a site visit. We met Castle Builders at the Home Show in Manchester and set up a consultation for our project. We had purchased a previously flipped home in 2011 and have been making a list of things that needed to be redone or upgrades we preferred. Derek was on board for all of our ideas and worked with our insurance company for one of the repairs. Derek's team was always timely, professional and respectful. We had a few asks on our end to work around including animals and my spouse works overnights. They were accommodating to both of these things and that made all the difference for us and streamlining the project as much as possible. I've included a few photos. Derek's team took my boring red builder's grade kitchen and turned it into a kitchen we can be proud of. I unfortunately didn't take any before pictures of the deck and front stairs but the difference is amazing. We are looking forward to working with Castle Builders for our next set of projects!
