CEDARS AND BIRCH HOMES LLC

Cedars & Birch Homes LLC builds in small batches: its Houzz profile describes a Needham, Massachusetts design-build firm that limits itself to three or four new homes a year. Alongside ground-up construction, the Houzz listing offers general contracting, home additions, basement remodeling and accessory dwelling units. Its Angi profile comes at the company from another angle — a cabinet-installation business with twelve years behind it, listed at 30 Crest Cir in West Yarmouth, with Spanish spoken. The two profiles place the company in different parts of the state, so ask which team would cover your address and whether the cabinetry and the homebuilding are the same crew. Confirm the Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration and insurance with the state before you sign, and ask for addresses of recent projects you can go look at.
