Central Mass Hardwood, led by Peter (Pete) Barber for what the Better Business Bureau lists as roughly 30 years in business, has built an exceptionally deep, consistent review history around one specialty: hardwood flooring, installed, refinished, and repaired. Floor-covering-only contractors aren't required to hold one under state law, but this company did have one and it lapsed — a fact worth asking about directly even though it doesn't reflect on the work itself.
