Had our roof redone with Chad and his team two years ago. They did an excellent job, regularly sent pictures of the work being done and was priced very well. The cherry on top was a few months after the job was finished some of the shingles came loose because of weather. Contacted Chad because he had mentioned that if any of the shingles came loose to let him know. A few days later one of Chad's guys came out and fixed the loose shingles, no charge!

Charged $500 to seal a chimney. Gave a verbal quote of $150 prior to job. Proceeded to tell client he was confused about quote. Had multiple other quotes to do the job in the range of $200 from other roofers. Would highly recommend using someone else.
What does a roof replacement cost in Greater Boston?
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Chad Gonzalez Construction LLC. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
A square is 100 sq ft of roof surface — bigger than the floor plan because of pitch and overhangs.
Estimated range
$9,000 – $18,600
Typical roofing project around $13,800
