CHAISS CONSTRUCTION

Chaiss Construction is a Dedham-based general contractor and remodeler run by Michael Chaisson, who local news reported in 2024 was serving on Foxborough's Advisory Committee. Its Houzz and BuildZoom profiles describe a full-service remodeling operation — kitchen and bathroom renovations, home additions, flooring, and window work — with Boston named as its service area and about nine years in business per the Better Business Bureau. In a 2019 post, a client wrote that they were "so happy" with the company's work, adding there was no way they could have done the project themselves. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor license, #207321, is on file with BuildZoom, and the company carries an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau, though it isn't a BBB-accredited business. BuildZoom shows nine permitted projects on file and Houzz shows ten. This is a good call for a homeowner planning a kitchen, bath, or whole-room remodel who wants a contractor with a documented local project history; confirm the license directly with the state and ask for references from recent work before booking.
