In a June 2020 review, a homeowner who had put out a request for tile around a tub said he came to look the next day and did the work himself, no subs. The company's site describes a full-service home improvement contractor in Methuen and says it has been owner-operated for over 60 years; BuildZoom lists a Massachusetts home improvement contractor licence, #206028, for it. Floors and tile are the bread and butter. A September 2025 Angi reviewer on an $11,260 job called him diligent and a perfectionist and said he offered solutions where the budget was constrained; a December 2020 customer paid $3,700 to have hardwood refinished; and in an August 2019 review, a homeowner had a worn hardwood kitchen floor replaced with herringbone tile. Job values listed alongside reviews run from $713 in 2020 to $11,260 in 2025. Bigger rebuilds show up too. A March 2022 reviewer described a kitchen redone with new floor joists, sub-flooring, floor tiling, cabinetry, backsplash tile and a build-out for an oven hood insert. In June 2024, a customer had corrections made to 35-year-old plumbing as part of the job and singled out his electrician and wallboard people, and a November 2025 reviewer had a corner of the house exterior repaired after water and carpenter ant damage, with work added to keep water out in future. Two things to settle up front. A February 2020 customer said his estimate came in higher than others and hired him anyway, so if price decides it for you, get competing bids and be clear on what his includes. Several reviewers also describe scope growing mid-job — a September 2024 homeowner had work added as they went and had help picking tile, LVP and stair carpet — so agree how add-ons get priced before the first day. For flooring, tile and single-room remodels where you want the same person on site from demolition to finish, this is a straightforward call — a January 2021 customer said they were comfortable leaving him in the house unsupervised, and a December 2019 reviewer said much the same. Pin down the scope, the change-order terms and the finish date in writing, and confirm the licence number before work starts.
