After experiencing a troublesome contractor referred through a local forum, I asked a friend who's been in the trades for years about a solid, local plumber. He referred me to CVP&H, whom I called and explained the project, took some pictures, and worked with Christine at the main office. She listened to me and explained that Jim would be stopping by day end to look at the project, confirm the replacement products to order based on the pictures, and give me an idea of cost. Jim showed up at the time window Christine promised, took inventory of all the products needed to complete the project and ordered them. He returned once the products were all received in and installed them in a timely fashion. He even looked at a sink faucet that was installed wrong by the "forum" contractor, repackaged it so I could return to his supplier, and returned the next day to install correctly. I would strongly recommend Champlain Valley Plumbing & Heating as a professional, no nonsense, plumbing and heating company to tackle any commercial or residential project.

None better than this outfit! Competent, honest, friendly, local, responsive ..... everything you're looking for. They've done big and small jobs for me from complete boiler replacements and adding heat zones and circulators, to quickly getting me out of jam when my own plumbing repair led to chaos. And the few times I've bothered to compare bids from other providers, CVPH has come in at a significantly lower price. I'm not sure what their secret sauce is, but they'll always be my first choice for plumbing and heating.
