- Challenging custom project — a 2023 reviewer praised the creativity and workmanship
Charlsen Woodworking & Design is a cabinetmaking shop on the South Shore, working out of Scituate. Dean Charlsen is the name on its Houzz profile, which lists the business under cabinets and cabinetry, and its Google page stands at five stars across five ratings. In a June 2023 Google review, a customer thanked Dean for “his creativity and custom workmanship on the challenging project he did for me,” called working with him a pleasure and recommended him. For built-in cabinetry or a custom piece that has to fit a particular space, that is squarely the work this shop takes on. Ask to see finished cabinetwork close to what you have in mind, and put the drawings, the wood species and the lead time in writing before a deposit changes hands.
