A July 2026 customer said Mark and his crew cleaned 61 windows, inside and out, in three hours. Chatham Window Washing says it is locally owned and operated by Mark McLaughlin and serves Chatham, Harwich, Orleans, Dennis and Brewster. The company advertises residential and commercial window cleaning using a proprietary cleaning solution and an ultra-pure water system. An August 2025 Google reviewer described thorough window cleaning that included sills and frames. An April 2025 reviewer said Mark and Kevin arrived on time, cleaned the windows and sills, and took care not to track dirt indoors. A September 2024 customer credited Mark with scheduling the job within a few days and said Kevin returned two days after the cleaning to adjust a loose screen. In October 2024, a repeat customer described annual window and screen cleaning over three years, plus the crew removing and storing bedroom air conditioners each year. An August 2026 reviewer said the windows came out well but reported being surprised by a $500 bill for an average two-story house after having the work done without a quote. That customer also described communication trouble and said they would use another business. In an April 2026 review, a customer described dirt smeared across the windows and said they were still seeking a $700 refund. They reported that Mark hung up when asked for the money back. A December 2025 reviewer described dirty corners, smears and windows left untouched, likewise saying Mark hung up when a refund was requested. That customer said previous work by him had been satisfactory. An older complaint, posted in September 2021, concerned water spots after cleaning with a brush on an extension pole. The customer said the company attributed the staining to hard water and declined to remedy it. BBB lists Chatham Window Washing as non-accredited with a C+ grade, citing failure to respond to one complaint.
Very expensive….windows came out great but I had the job done w/o a quote and was shocked! $500 for an avg two story house. I’m not sure why …. If Mark was angry because I truly forgot to tip his helper or if it was due to some communication troubles in the beginning? Dispite a nice web site, He does struggle with technology….. we will go elsewhere in the future.
Mark and his crew did a terrific job both inside and out. With the 61 windows in the house the crew was done in three hours. I will use him again.
Mark did a horrible job. He Went to Florida and when we told him we wanted our $700 back he hung up on us. Not a disconnection. We still want our money back. Our complaint led to bad bbb review. Mark. Be an upstanding business man and give us the refund we deserve. We will contact bbb with a new report. This took place in Nov. he said he would return late Jan to “ redo”. We could not see out our windows because of all the dirt smeared aroundand it was holiday time. Our housekeeper was here and verified his time here
Our family just had our windows "washed" by Mark. He did not have his crew. His work was unbelievably bad! We were not here but our housekeeper was present and she said he was here a very short time. There is not one clean window in our house. Many were not touched at all and the ones "cleaned " all have dirty corners and smears. We have used Mark in the past and were happy. Something has happened to him. When I told him I wanted my money refunded he hung up on me.
I couldn't be more impressed with the window washing service I received! The team was professional, punctual, and thorough. They cleaned every window in my house, leaving them sparkling and streak-free. The attention to detail was exceptional, and they even went the extra mile to clean the sills and frames.
