Christian Painting & Roofing is a Lynn repair outfit built around Anthony DeRosa, and the calls customers describe are mostly small repairs: a leak, a skylight, a few missing shingles. It holds 4.7 stars from 401 Angi ratings and 5 from 5 on Google. Its Massachusetts HIC license 140930, held by Anthony C DeRosa, is active on the state registry. A June 2025 Angi reviewer said a small leak was diagnosed and fixed in a short time. In a January 2023 Google review, a customer with a leaking skylight said Anthony responded immediately with a reasonable price and repaired it. Customers in 2021 described bigger jobs: in June, one described a multi-week project covering stone foundation repair, gutter replacement, rotted wood repairs, mold removal from the roof and painting the whole house, and in October another had roof repair and exterior painting done on a historic building. A November 2022 reviewer said they were seriously overcharged, a June 2020 reviewer called the work very expensive, and a May 2021 reviewer called Anthony rude and said that he did not do the job correctly and, after the deposit, showed up when he felt like it.
Small leak, they were able to diagnose and fix the issue in a short time.
Responded promptly, quoted a price, showed up when they said, did the work efficiently, had a great sense of humor, very pleasant. What's not to like?
We had a leaking skylight and called a few contractors to get quotes. Anthony responded immediately with a reasonable price, then came to the house and repaired the problem. He took the time to replace the loose flashing, and seal the window. His price was reasonable and the job was done in one day. Some months later, another skylight had the same issue and he returned and fixed that one as well. Again, he responded quickly and took the time to do the repair properly since the roofers had not installed the flashing correctly. He did not charge me for the return visit. I recommend Anthony for any roofing repairs.
Very personable people and good communicators. They noticed things that I didn't even know were wrong. They took on a few more little tasks that needed doing while up on the roof and charged minimally for that. They were patient with me while I waited to get back to exact same pieces of replacement siding. Thank you Anthony! I would hire them again.
Personable but seriously overcharged for the project. quality of work cannot be determined until later.
