Highlights
- Stove burner repair — 2021 review: quoted beforehand, arrived on time
- Bulkhead color fix — 2022 review: wrong color quickly repainted brown
- Spatter touch-up — 2022 review: promised siding fix never came
In a 2021 review, a customer wrote that CLS sent a quote beforehand to repair a drop-in stove burner control, showed up on time with everything he needed, and was in and out with no problems. In a 2022 review, a customer said CLS was quick to respond and complete several small jobs, including interior and exterior painting. That 2022 customer was happy with the interior wall painting, cupboard repair and power washing. When miscommunication resulted in the wrong cherry red color on a bulkhead, they quickly repainted it with the requested brown, the 2022 review says. The same 2022 customer was disappointed to see paint spattered on vinyl siding above the bulkhead. Cody apologized and said he'd be out to fix it within the week but never came, nor responded to a follow-up email, according to that 2022 review.

Quick to respond and complete several small jobs including interior and exterior painting. When miscommunication resulted in wrong cherry red color on bulkhead, they quickly repainted with requested brown. I was very happy with interior wall painting, cupboard repair, and power washing but disappointed to see paint spattered on vinyl siding above the bulkhead, particularly because we are readying our house for sale. Cody apologized and said he’d be out to fix it within the week but never came, nor responded to my follow-up email. I ultimately purchased graffiti remover and attempted to remove the spatters myself. I wish Cody and his assistant had been a bit more attentive to detail and more responsive to customer service; they would have earned my top praise if not for that.

CLS was great, sent a quote before hand to repair my drop in stove, burner control. CLS showed up on time, with everything he needed and was in and out with no problems. Friendly, professional and conscientious. I will use them again!!

What does handyman work cost in Greater Boston?
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from CLS Professional Handyman Services. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
A day rate replaces the task list — usually the better deal once the list gets long.
Estimated range
$220 – $850
Typical handyman visit around $540
