Cocalico Hardwood Floor Refinishing takes on worn and damaged wood floors, and it holds 5 stars from 6 Google ratings. In a recent Google review, the company took original 1990s oak and cherry floors with stains, dents, scratches and gouges and turned them into smooth, light-toned flooring, and also installed new cherry hardwood; that customer liked being able to see stain options before choosing. In a 2025 review, Marlin took a broken, buckled floor that had been covered in plywood in a 100-year-old house: the flooring was removed, cross braces put in to level it and new flooring laid, and he tied into the original pine floors. That customer said the work was dust and odor free and took 5 days. A 2024 review describes a whole-home job: floating engineered hardwood moved from the first floor to three smaller rooms upstairs, new hardwood laid on the first floor, a solid oak floor found under the family room refinished, and bedroom carpet replaced with natural red oak, with Marlin placing boards across an angled doorway so no transition piece was needed. In a 2026 review, Marlin came out to look at the existing oak before quoting a living room, eating area and hallway, and squeezed the job in before the customer's move. A 2024 customer said the work was scheduled quickly, the price was extremely fair, and the equipment kept dust to a non-issue.

We couldn’t be happier with how the Cocalico team completely transformed our floors! They took our original 1990s oak and cherry floors with stains, dents, scratches, and gouges, and turned them into beautiful, smooth, light toned flooring. Cocalico also installed new cherry hardwood flooring, and we loved having the opportunity to see visual stain options before making our choice. The finished floors are absolutely beautiful and were well worth the investment. We highly recommend these guys!
Cocalico Flooring was great to work with! We needed to have our living room, eating area and halllway oak floors redone in our new house. We called several vendors but no other flooring person came out to actually see our project. They asked for pics and dimensions only and gave us and estimate. Marlin came, looked at the existing wood, gave his opinions of the condition and discussed our project. We needed to have the floors done prior to the move on and Marlin squeezed us in to fit our needs. The floor is awesome! We highly recommend Cocalico Flooring.
This company deserves 10 stars! Marlin took a broken buckled floor that had been covered in plywood and turned it into a beauty! As you can see in the first picture the flooring had to be removed, then cross braces put in to level it and new flooring. Each had to be leveled individually. The other pictures are the landing and the bedroom which were sanded, sealed and finished. Please note- my house is 100 years old and he tied into the original pine floors perfectly. I had two other contractors come through and one wouldn’t touch it and the other would have forced me to take out a home equity loan. The work was dust and odor free and took 5 days. I highly recommend this company. You won’t be disappointed
The carpet had to go in our bedrooms!! Life with 3 dogs and 3 cats means way too much dander in the carpet even with regular vaccuming. To the rescue was Cocalico Hardwood Floor Refinishing LLC!! They moved, replaced, and refinished all of the wood flooring in our home!!! We couldn't be happier with the service and quality we received! The attention and time given to every little detail is top notch!! To note, we had floating engineered hardwood on the first floor which was moved to the 3 smaller rooms on the second floor, then new hardwood was laid on the first floor. Our family room had solid oak hardwood floor hiding underneath the engineered hardwood, so that beautiful but beat up oak hardwood was refinished. Finally, the main bedroom had the carpet replaced with the same natural red oak floors that we had installed on the first floor! The hallway on the second floor already had the same engineered hardwood that was moved to the 3 spare rooms. One of the doors is angled. Marlin took the extra time to remove and place boards in that threshold so that there would be no transition piece. Seamless!! He also had to do some extra detail work to place oak vents and a beautiful long oak transition piece between the family room and kitchen tile. We truly couldn't be happier with the finished results and Cocalico Hardwood Flooring!!! Also, very little dust and great price!!
Marlin was an absolute professional, offering me some great information on our first call. He was prompt to come out for an estimate, and the work was scheduled quickly as well. His team took great care and showed respect of our time, home, and peace of mind throughout. Due to challenging schedules we left the guys work in our home while we were away with no issue. We were honestly surprised how great of a service was offered to us at an extremely fair pricepoint! Also worth noting... they have proper equipment to keep the dust level to a non-issue.
