I was very impressed with ComfortMax as Lucas did a great job analyzing my HVAC needs and offering with great detail what options were available to me. He was punctual, cordial and very knowledgable of his trade and I highly recommend him and his company!

ComfortMax did an amazing job at my parents’ house. The new system came out beautiful—extremely neat, clean, and clearly installed with great care and attention to detail. Jonathan, the project manager, was truly invaluable and a huge asset to the company. Since I live out of state, he made sure I was fully involved from day one. He walked me through the entire installation process, clearly explained all technical decisions, and helped determine the best equipment placement for both performance and aesthetics. He even did videos during the installation so I could see everything in real time—his transparency and communication gave me complete peace of mind. Jonathan coordinated seamlessly with the technicians, even when there was a language barrier, between us and the technicians, he made sure all technical requirements, measurements, and installation details were clearly understood and executed correctly. He was always prompt, patient, and clear when answering questions, and after the installation was complete, he took the time to thoroughly explain how to operate the system, adjust settings, understand the controls, and maintain it properly going forward. ComfortMax delivered great results, and Jonathan’s strong leadership elevated the project from start to finish. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Working with ComfortMax to update our HVAC system to a heatpump model was a great experience! They answered all of our questions and informed us about all available incentives. After assisting us in picking the system that best meets our needs, installation was a prompt and smooth process. We now have a new heatpump HVAC system that has increased our energy efficiency, as well as the level of comfort in our home.

Mostly, we were very satisfied with the service; especially Arthur, our salesperson, who made a special effort to keep us posted and came to our home to show us how to use the sysem as we were away during the install. He also uncovered a gap that was preventing heat to reach a room on the 2nd floor of our home. However, we could not give ComfortMax a 5 star as there are a few items regarding our experience that could be improved, mostly focused on communications: 1. Scheduling: It took numerous follow-ups to secure an installation date. 2. Installation Delays: The crew arrived late without any notification. Despite providing our son’s contact information to Jonathan, our sonhave was not updated while he was covering for us. 3. Installation Requirements: The specific distance required between the outdoor unit and the gas exhaust was a surprise. This should have been covered during the initial planning phase. 4. Follow-up Materials: Jonathan promised to send videos and photos after the installation, but I had to call to request them again. 5. System Settings: We were told the system would switch to gas at 30 degrees. However, it was set to 15 degrees until Arthur corrected it. This error resulted in an electricity bill exceeding $500 . 6. Support: It would be helpful to have clearer communication regarding backup support when primary personnel are away.
