How long the outfit has been at this depends on which page you open. The company's own site says it opened its doors in 2000 and describes more than 20 years in construction, while its Angi, HomeAdvisor and BBB profiles all put it at five years in business. Worth asking Ken how long the company in its current form has been running, and what came before it. For a Worcester-area homeowner who wants one contractor to carry a kitchen, an addition or a whole-house remodel — and who needs the price kept to a number — this is a reasonable call. Before signing, get the scope, the allowances and the payment schedule in writing, and check the construction supervisor licence yourself on the state register.
