A Concord Carpenter is a Concord-based, full-service builder and remodeler led by Robert Robillard. Homeowners hire Rob and his crew for finish carpentry, kitchens and bathrooms, decks and porches, doors and windows, additions, basements, and whole-home renovations; the company also publishes practical carpentry and construction guidance under the Concord Carpenter name. The customer history is unusually deep for a local builder: Google lists 45 five-star ratings, with written reviews from 2022 through March 2026 describing renovations, decks, porches, attic finishes, doors, kitchens, bathrooms, and structural problem-solving. Recent reviewers repeatedly mention craftsmanship, reliability, communication, scheduling, cleanliness, and creative solutions. A March 2026 homeowner said the team provides quality craftsmanship and reliable advice; a June 2025 deck review described a 425-square-foot, 10-foot-high rebuild and noted that the quote was the highest of several, while calling the work excellent. Several homeowners describe complex older-home work. Reviews mention a 17th-century kitchen, a 19th-century attic finish, a 1951 home gut renovation, and a nearly year-long antique-house renovation. One homeowner said Rob helped find a lower-cost alternative for a walnut slat-wall project; another praised due diligence with the building inspector on a deck rebuild. These accounts are dated, so confirm current availability, pricing, and who will perform each part of a new project. A Concord Carpenter is a strong fit for homeowners seeking an experienced general contractor with hands-on carpentry and renovation depth, especially on older or complicated homes. Before signing, get a written scope, schedule, allowance structure, and change-order process, and ask how the current crew and subcontractors will be managed.
“A couple of tidbits tucked away in a new video from [Concord Carpenter](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqVoR5xllAY): 1) A 24V version of the new drywall sander is due in July ($899) 2) FLEX is planning on re-releasing certain legacy tools (red/maroon color) in the US-market colorway (Grey/Black). The rep specifically mentions the [120V vacuums](https://www.flexpowertools.com/9-gallon-hepa-vacuum-444251/). Speculation: if they are releasing a cordless drywall sander, it would make a lot of sense to also release a backpack vacuum with a short hose and auto-start.”

Rob Robillard and his team of professionals provide quality craftsmanship and reliability. I would not hesitate to recommend Rob and i have depended on his advice and work for many years. He will always get to the route of any problem. He is committed to achieving the best result
Concord Carpenter, Rob Robillard, did an excellent job!! Highest quality work. Very efficient scheduling of subs. Responsive to changing needs and creative solutions for the unexpected. To a person, everyone who came on the property – including all the subs - was polite, friendly and only wanted to make me happy. I look forward to our next project. I highly recommend Concord Carpenter.
Rob and his crew are amazing! He has done our kitchen, a bathroom, a recent office and dining room project and all have been impeccable. He might not be the cheapest quote you get, but what do you receive in terms of the quality will be returned tenfold.
We had a great experience working with Concord Carpenter. Rob and his team were very communicative from the outset and always had attention to detail. They were always available for questions and helped guide us through the project. They were very timely in their work and we were so pleased with the results!
I've known Rob for many years and have always admired his craftsmanship. It wasn't until recently, however, that I had the perfect project for him to spearhead. We recently decided to finish our basement, incorporating storage space, a golf simulator, seating area, etc. From the start of the project to the end, Rob and his team were timely, efficient, and most of all, focused on delivering the best possible result. As I mentioned, Rob is a craftsman - and that means that the final project will be right, no matter what. So much so that he has re-done portions of the project as we went along that were not up to his standard (at no additional cost, of course). He's putting his name on your project, and he wants it to reflect his skills and those of his team. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone - and wish I could give more than 5 stars! Give Concord Carpenter a call - you won't be disappointed.
