Cool Runnings Refrigeration

Cool Runnings Refrigeration is a one-man HVAC and refrigeration outfit on Cape Cod, run by Mario out of Eastham, and the record here is about as clean as they come: twelve reviews across Google, Angi and HomeAdvisor spanning 2018 to 2025, every single one five stars. What comes up again and again is Mario solving problems other people couldn't. A 2023 review describes him diagnosing and fixing a difficult HVAC issue that other contractors had given up on; a 2018 review describes a large industrial building where another company said the job couldn't be done, and Mario ran a six-man crew to install air conditioning throughout. On the residential side, reviewers describe precise, professional split-system installs — one 2023 review calls him the best A/C installer they've used, referred by a friend, and notes the job was finished in just over a week. A 2022 review describes a genuine emergency: a busted unit with renters arriving in days, and Mario got a replacement ordered and installed quickly, at a cost the reviewer called better than competitors. A 2021 review describes a bigger job — three splits, a condenser, and a dehumidifier installed in a crawl space — calling the work timely and the customer service wonderful. Reviewers consistently mention his pricing as fair and his explanations as thorough; a 2023 review specifically calls him honest and easy to deal with, noting he even relocated compressor units in the yard on request. Nothing negative shows up anywhere in the written record, across seven years and three platforms. For ductless A/C, heat pump, or refrigeration work on the Outer Cape, this reads like a contractor who takes on the jobs other people turn down — and does them well.
