Customers describe calling Briggs & Heino for leaking water heaters, furnace trouble and plumbing repairs, then continuing to use the company for decades. The Centerville business says it is family-owned and was established in 1982, with plumbing, heating and air-conditioning services for homes and workplaces. Chris is named throughout its customer accounts; a June 2026 reviewer said the family had depended on him and his father for more than 40 years. The recent jobs include repair and replacement. An August 2026 customer said Chris fixed leaks in a gas heating furnace and water heater, explained what was needed and did not try to sell a new system. Another customer, writing in May, described using him for numerous small jobs and most recently for a new furnace and water heater. A June reviewer said Chris inspected a mini-split, found no problem and did not pad the bill. Scheduling and communication also drew praise in April reviews, while a July customer specifically mentioned a spotless worksite. Heating emergencies have brought some detailed accounts. In a December 2025 review, a customer described waking at 5 a.m. without heat; Chris arrived by 8:30 and restored it shortly afterward. A March 2026 reviewer said Chris helped get gas service restored through three visits, pipe checks, contact with an inspector and bringing space heaters. The customer also said he met National Grid on little notice and restarted appliances after a week without heat. In November 2025, another customer described him winterizing the house and preparing it for their return. One October 2025 review described a limit to a service call: the technician arrived within an hour and checked a system that was running, but did not determine the cause of the vibration that prompted the visit. The customer said the unit worked well throughout the weekend and previously replaced parts looked good. Google showed a 5-star average from 334 ratings in August 2026, and the BBB page carried an A+ grade.
