Cornerstone Plumbing (also doing business as Cornerstone Plumbing & Heating Co) holds an active Massachusetts plumbing license, and its written record is unusually large — 70 Google reviews since 2022, almost all five stars, with 15 of them in just the last six months. The thing that keeps coming up is speed paired with actual diagnosis. In an April 2026 review, a homeowner said a previous plumber wanted to cut open a wall to chase a leak, but a Cornerstone technician took the time to diagnose it properly and fixed it without cutting in. A March 2026 review described a similar case — a leak from an unknown source traced through a closet wall and repaired the same afternoon. Technicians named Brandon, Tyler, and Josh come up repeatedly across the reviews for water heater swaps, boiler installs, and general repair work, often described as arriving within the hour for urgent calls. There are two dated complaints worth knowing about. A June 2026 review described paying $2,800 for a water heater installation where the old unit was left behind uninstalled and the new one started leaking from a fitting within a week, with no return calls after. A September 2024 review complained about being charged $975 for a part the reviewer said cost about $90–$200 elsewhere, even though the same-day emergency response itself was praised. Given the volume and consistency of the praise against those two specific, dated complaints, this looks like a solid, responsive plumbing outfit — worth confirming pricing on parts and getting a clear line on old-equipment removal before a bigger job.
Extremely pleased with their timely response and service. They communicated well and showed up on time and got the work done as needed for me.
Cornerstone was extremely quick in response to my Inquiry and was very professional from our first phone call to the end of repair service. We called about a broken outdoor hose spigot that was leaking and a potential broken water shut off valve inside the house. Josh was extremely informative as to what may have to be done for repairs in a case by case basis. We luckily were able to simply replace the outdoor spigot and avoid any repairs indoors. Having a company we can trust to not pull one over on us is very reassuring and I will be using them again if any other issues arise.
We recently discovered a leak in the piping connected to our hot water heater and contacted Cornerstone Plumbing for help. They came out first thing the next morning, quickly identified the failed line, and repaired it efficiently. Within just a few hours, we were back up and running with hot water. Their team was professional, prompt, knowledgeable, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. We really appreciated their quick response and quality workmanship. I would highly recommend Cornerstone Plumbing to anyone in need of reliable plumbing service.
Paid Cornerstone Plumbing and Heating Co $2,800 for a water heater install. They left the old unit in my garage and didn't haul it away, and the new one was leaking from a fitting within a week. Won’t return my calls.
Our second floor bathroom toilet had a leak that was leaking through the floor and coming out of our light fixture above our dining room table. Tyler came and talked with me about what was going on and determined that it was the wax seal failing on the toilet. He got to work and now we have the peace of mind that our dining room won't have an unwelcome water fountain feature. This isn't our first time working with Cornerstone Plumbing and Heating and it won't be our last!
