A recent customer said they were given a 10:00 appointment the same morning they called, and that Sohail assessed and repaired the problem. A recent customer said he pointed out issues putting stress on the doors, installed two new garage door openers, and was hired again two months later to put on two new doors. A 2023 customer said their card was charged without authorization, that one garage door's track was installed too low so the door would not stay closed, and that the company refused to come out to fix it despite saying it had a one-year warranty. A 2025 reviewer said a driver of one of the company's vehicles was driving erratically and the person who answered the phone to take the report was rude.
I contacted Country Club Garage Doors earlier this morning and they immediately contacted me for an appointment at 10:00 today. Our technician, Sohail, was polite, professional and competent in both assessing our problem and repairing it. I would highly recommend using them to family and friends. Well done and thanks.
We were satisfied with the quality of the garage door and the price we paid for the door, until they continued to charge our credit card FOUR additional times. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION!!! We have been in contact with our credit card company the Better Business Bureau and the police. BEWARE, they will scam your credit card.
Sohail the owner and operator is a thief and a scammer. He did work on my garage before and I was pleased I requested him to do new doors a second time. I paid him $2000 in March 2026 to order doors in the morning and found out he was over charging me so I cancelled the order in a few hours. He got upset and told me he already ordered the doors and he cannot get my money back. I told him this was not stated in the contract and he agreed to give me my money back. Stating ‘ This is why he doesn’t work with black peoples’. He keeps giving me the run around and he also Threatened me that if I did a bad review, it will not be good for me. I have been requesting my money back for months and he keeps saying he will return my money but he has not. I will now file a police report and file with the court to get my money back. Please do not work with this man he is a scammer and a thief. Update as of June 24th: East Hartford Police reached out to him and we made arrangements to meet on June 19th at the police station to refund my $2000 he was a no call no show.
