My husband and I purchased a home that had not been lived in by humans for at least 10 years. It was a mess. After scouring the internet for the best general contractor to handle the exterior siding, windows, and doors, Crafted Custom Carpentry was the only business that had all five-star reviews. We met with Jonah, one of the owners and never looked back. The reason they got such high ratings was clear in everything they did. The communication about every little detail was incredible. Jonah ran through everything with me at least once a week leading up to and during the entire project. If I called, texted, or emailed, I always heard back within an hour. The contract process was transparent and clear. Lisa, their business manager, was always a step ahead, making sure that the invoicing and change orders were clear. They honored my vision for the renovations, even when my goals were complicated. And the carpentry. Wow. My dad was a builder and I know the difference between average and excellent when it comes to building. Dave is incredibly talented, never cuts corners, and his work is meticulous. With our home, he discovered so much damage from years of neglect and wild animals. He did not cover anything up, but instead dealt with each issue to ensure that our home was structurally sound and the new exterior would last for many years to come. I will be reaching out to them for every major project I have moving forward. We are still staining the siding, but here are some photos of their work - will update when stain is completed.

We recently hired Crafted Custom Carpentry for a full tear-down and rebuild of our covered farmer’s porch, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. The head carpenters, Dave and Nick, were fantastic—friendly, respectful, and always mindful of our property and even our neighbors. Their workspace was kept clean, and they made sure the noise and materials were managed with care. Jonah’s project management was incredibly efficient. Everything he said would happen, happened—deliveries, timelines, installations—without delay or confusion. Communication was clear and consistent, which meant we were never left guessing about progress or costs. We can’t recommend Jonah and the team at Crafted Custom Carpentry highly enough. Their professionalism, skill, and integrity made this a truly outstanding experience, and we will absolutely be calling them for all future home projects.

Without getting too much into the background, let's just say that another "contractor" had totally botched what should have been a simple deck job at our small lake house...and we were panicking! Jonah and his team came to the rescue! We have been thoroughly impressed by Jonah's professionalism, his communication, and of course, his workmanship and attention to detail. His team also worked exceptionally quickly and kept us in the loop every step of the way. 5 stars, highly recommend!

Jonah and Dave were called to repair some damage at our house caused accidentally by another company. They were clearly busy with other set jobs that were scheduled. They arrived within days to asses the damage and put a plan together for the repair. We were pleasantly surprised that they were able to free up some time as soon as flooring was delivered. Crafter Custom Carpentry was incredibly responsive, on time, and payed great attention to detail. While they were working in our basement repairing our flooring and painting they were very respectful, clean and did beautiful work. The communication on the timing of the project, who would be coming in and out and the timeline of completion exceeded our expectations. They do so much more than carpentry! All of the contractors involved in our project were excellent. I would highly recommend this business to anyone that has repairs, additions, renovations, etc… They are a great group of incredibly hard working and skilled professionals in their craft.
