In April 2026 another homeowner described CRC taking over a complex roof frame after the previous contractor walked out and left the house exposed to the weather. Two reviewers that spring wrote nearly word-for-word the same line about the framing: experienced, fast, clean, solid. Smaller jobs run alongside the builds. In November 2025 a customer with a hole in a flat roof, punched by a rooftop deck, said CRC removed the deck, repaired the damaged joists and fixed the rubber roof, with Ted handling the scheduling and the permits. Another that month said CRC quoted a complete rebuild of a failing detached garage for what other companies wanted just to patch it. A February 2024 reviewer had windows replaced, one the same week called them for small carpentry repairs, and a March 2025 customer described a full gut renovation with French moulding. Two things to settle before you call. Angi and HomeAdvisor describe CRC narrowly — carpentry framing repair, deck and porch repair — while the company's own site covers custom home construction, residential design, additions, remodeling, home repairs and roofing, so be plain about which kind of project you have. And BuildZoom's profile puts CRC Builders in North Oxford rather than Needham Heights, worth a moment's confirmation if you find them there first. For a custom build, a framing package or an addition around Needham, the written accounts run from 2023 to 2026, and one June 2026 customer said they had been using CRC for 18 years. Get the contract price and the change-order terms on paper — that July 2026 customer's point about the number holding is the thing to have in writing — and confirm who pulls your permits.
