In a 2016 Houzz review of a deck and three season room project, the homeowner wrote that John Parent, owner of Creative Remodeling, responded promptly and came over on a Saturday to accommodate the homeowner's schedule. That 2016 homeowner wrote of “a bit of sticker shock” at first, but after reviewing John's approach considered the price “consistent with the value that John and his company would be providing.” The same 2016 review said the project resulted in “a new multi-level composite deck, access from the outside to the top deck, a beautiful three season room with both heat and AC, and an under deck area that was completely weather proof,” and that John's communication during the project was excellent.
In a 2017 Houzz review, a customer wrote that John designed a pergola for the deck and that John and his team finished the project on time and on budget. In another 2017 Houzz review, a customer wrote that their first project with John was the removal of a ground-floor deck and replacing it with a 2nd floor deck, completed in 2013, and that they had turned to John many more times since, including to play the role of General Contractor after water damage. In a 2018 Houzz review, a customer who had searched for someone to replace wooden decks with maintenance free composite wrote that John Parent was a great help, that John's team was very professional and on the job every day until it was finished, and that clean-up was “top notch.” A 2018 Google review read: “Never saw a team work so hard and with such determination.” In a 2015 Houzz review, a customer wrote that the new deck was built by Creative Remodeling Design, that John Parent came when he said he would, performed as planned and kept the customer informed at every step in the process, and that his work was “outstanding and reasonably priced.”
In a 2017 Houzz review, a customer wrote that John did a full kitchen remodel for them, including new floors and removing part of a wall, and that he lined up all the subcontractors in advance of the project. That 2017 customer wrote that when a cabinet-maker not connected with John made some bad mistakes in cabinet construction, John was patient and worked with them to fix the problems until they were happy with the outcome. In a 2016 Houzz review, a customer wrote that John and his team did a wonderful job remodeling the master bathroom, maintained open and continual lines of communication, and stayed with the plan and the agreed upon budget. In a separate 2016 Houzz review, a homeowner in Ashland, MA wrote that John and his team installed a white subway tile back splash in the kitchen, with the “highest job quality with a good price.”
In a 2021 Google review, a customer wrote that a meeting had been set up for which the reviewer's husband took time off of work to meet with John, that John never showed up, and that calls and emails to him got no response.
