A 2022 Houzz review of Custom Kitchens, a Franklin, Massachusetts cabinetry and countertop shop, describes a homeowner who said the company offered few design options and didn't follow through on its promises after payment was made. Houzz gives the business a 1-star rating on the strength of that account, and separately lists it as in the custom cabinetry trade for 32 years, building custom cabinets, vanities, and countertops. Anyone considering this shop for a cabinetry or countertop project should get the scope, timeline, and payment terms in writing before any deposit changes hands, and ask directly about the complaint above.
Nothing custom about this place! There are few options to choose from and they will not make any accommodations. They will make promises and not follow through after payment is made.
