Cypress LLC

Cypress LLC is a Mattapan-based remodeler run by Mark Garufi, working additions and full-scale renovations across Greater Boston. BuildZoom describes it as a five-year operation and gives it a 98 score, reserved for contractors with a clean license record and a documented permit history. That permit history is the real story: seven projects on file, from a $42,400 basement remodel at a Brookline place of worship (2021) to a $369,720 two-storey addition with a full kitchen and bathroom remodel in Milton (2022). More recently, a 2025 job converted a locker room into an ADA-compliant bathroom and classroom in Revere for $261,815, alongside a $101,710 interior remodel in Weston (2024). The range of project sizes and towns — from a house of worship in Brookline to commercial work in Revere — points to a contractor comfortable moving between large additions and smaller interior jobs. BuildZoom lists its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration (#200397) as active, verified as of March 2026 — worth confirming directly before signing anything.
