Highlights
- BBB A+ grade — the Better Business Bureau rates it A+
- Ownership unclear — BBB names two co-Presidents the company's site omits
D&R Construction Company is a Cambridge, Massachusetts general contractor that has carried an A+ Better Business Bureau grade since starting in October 2011. Eric Dutra, a Wentworth Institute of Technology construction management graduate, says he owns and runs the company himself — though BBB's own listing names two co-Presidents/CEOs, Eric P. Dutra and Thomas W. Russell, a detail the company's own site doesn't mention. The work spans full home renovations, custom kitchens and baths, additions, and carpentry — framing, drywalling, siding, and trim, per BBB — along with broader residential and commercial construction. Cambridge is named as its service area. A reasonable call for full home renovation or addition work in Cambridge; ask for references and clarify who would actually run the job, Dutra or Russell.
