In May 2020 a homeowner who wanted interior built-in bookcases says Sanfer Rocha worked the design out with them on the back of a napkin, then built it in the materials and finish they had specified. A March 2023 client, who hired him after a few meetings and some reference checks, took his design ideas over their architect's. D & S Partners Construction is his company, based in Dracut, and its site says he has been in construction for more than 20 years. The jobs customers describe are mostly big ones. In October 2023 a third floor that had been one open, high-ceilinged room became two separate offices, a small library room and a family room, with the open feel kept. A December 2021 review covers a complete gut and rehab of a kitchen and back porch — structural changes, electrical work, all new plumbing in the house. An April 2023 customer had an addition built with a basement in-law apartment, dug out and dug down, and a family room and office above. Detail work runs alongside it. A February 2024 client wanted a very specific style of architectural trimwork and got it. In January 2023 the crew replaced siding on one side of a house, repaired sunroom baseboards and shelving, and painted the room on top of what had been agreed. Another January 2023 job ran new electrical and plumbing through an old house so laundry appliances could go on the second floor. Two things to raise before you sign. On a December 2019 kitchen and bathroom remodel, painting and plastering went to a subcontractor while Sanfer's own crew did the remodeling, and that same customer mentions there were some delays — so ask which trades are his and how the schedule gets set. The written reviews are dated as well: they run from November 2019 to August 2025, all on Angi, which shows a 5.0 average from 38 ratings, as does HomeAdvisor. For a whole-room or whole-floor renovation where you want the builder in the design conversation, this is a small outfit built around one person: half these reviews name Sanfer himself, and an August 2025 customer was on their third job with him. Get the trade split and the schedule in writing before the first day.
