D.C. Cabinet Refacing

Cabinet installation and refacing are at the center of D.C. Cabinet Refacing's customer accounts, including a bathroom vanity and kitchen cabinets. HomeAdvisor places the business in Dudley, Massachusetts, and lists custom cabinets, ceramic tile installation, and kitchen and bathroom remodeling among its offerings. In an April 2023 review, a customer said Dave and John installed kitchen cabinets, paid attention to detail and explained what needed to be done whenever questions arose during installation. A June 2022 customer described John and David removing old cabinets, installing new ones, crown molding, a backsplash and a countertop, and making adjustments along the way. That customer also praised their scheduling flexibility. Two October 2023 reviewers said Dave arrived on time each day. One identified him as the owner and operator and described a kitchen transformation; the other praised the quality of his work and said they would hire him again. Earlier accounts describe component work: an April 2021 customer praised Dave's bathroom-vanity refacing, while a March 2020 reviewer said he made and painted cabinets and hung them straight despite the old cabinets being uneven. Customers also described door corrections. In October 2021, a reviewer said Dave sent back a flawed cabinet door and returned to install a new one. In July 2021, another said an incorrect door front arrived with the original order and Dave rectified the problem immediately. That customer praised the bisque shaker cabinet doors and said his price was lower than five other estimates. Two dated customers reported problems with materials or workmanship. An October 2020 HomeAdvisor reviewer described cheap material and unskilled workmanship. In February 2022, a Google reviewer reported poor workmanship, flimsy cabinet doors and mismeasured drawers that Dave could not fit with self-closing hardware. The customer said they fired Dave and hired someone else to complete the work after already paying him. HomeAdvisor reports 4.7 stars from 20 ratings, while Google reports one rating at one star.
