Husbands For Hire, LLC is a contractor based in Fiskdale, MA. In a 2019 review, a customer said Jessie put in an attic door where there was a crawl space and built a raised plywood floor in the attic so the blown-in insulation kept its R value. The customer said he got out to the home within two days, had an estimate to them within a week, and got the job done before Christmas; the work itself took two days. The customer also said he took note that their husband was military and offered a 10% discount.
I contacted easily 10 contractors to do the small job of putting in an attic door where there was a crawl space and building a raised plywood floor in my attic so the blown in insulation maintained it's R value. No one wanted to take the job because it was small and simply not worth their time. It was very frustrating. I'd used Jessie in the past to do odd jobs around the condo association I run, and called him. I wish I had first! He got out to my home within two days and had an actual estimate to me within a week. Compared to allll the other contractors I had met with this was a big deal. I hadn't even been able to get a call back. Our goal was to get it done before Christmas so we could, make our "catch all" room into a nursery. Jessie not only got it down within two weeks of his estimate, he got it done before Christmas. He also took note that my husband was military and offered us a 10% discount. He said we appreciate our Veterans and all they do so we make sure to take care of them. He and his team were personable and professional, and got the job done in two days. My husband and I are both very happy with the attention to detail, and level of work that was provided.
