And the two platforms tell slightly different stories: Google shows 4.9 from 52 ratings, while Thumbtack's larger pool of 181 ratings averages 4.7 and includes 6% at one star — roughly eleven unhappy customers whose reviews the page doesn't publish. One Google entry adds to the murk, carrying a two-star rating above text that reads as praise for a deck, a pergola and interior trim.
