Daniel F. O'Regan Mason Contractors is a veteran-owned, family-run masonry business serving Weymouth and the South Shore, self-reporting more than 25 years in business (its Better Business Bureau profile lists 28), with work described as ranging from small chimney rebuilds to full brownstone restoration. The five Google reviews on file, spanning 2021 to 2026 and all five stars, describe real, specific projects. A 2026 review describes a chimney rebuild finished on time at the original quoted price, with daily progress updates and cleanup before the crew left each day. A 2022 review describes Dan and his crew removing old stonework from a home's front and replacing it with white stone, adding granite steps over existing brickwork, and repairing a chimney — all at what the reviewer called a reasonable price after comparing three masons. Pricing comes up as a genuine strength across reviews: one reviewer says Dan gave the best quote of three masons they talked to, and another specifically noted the final price matched the original quote. O'Regan is a strong call for chimney work and stone or brick restoration on an older South Shore home, backed by a consistent five-star history and specific, detailed accounts rather than vague praise.
I'm very happy with my chimney rebuild. A very pleasant crew, with a great work ethic. I was kept informed on the progress every day, the job was finished on time and at the original quoted price. They cleaned up before leaving every day and came back the next day with all the supplies they needed to work all day. I'm very pleased with the work and how clean they left everything.
Amazing service. Would absolutely recommend.
Dan and his crew did great work and was reasonably priced. They removed my old stone work from the front of my house and replaced with white stone. They put in granite steps over my existing brick work and also repaired my chimney. I appreciated that he always returned calls in a timely manner and would always take the time on the phone to discuss the work and all options. Would love to have him do more work but on a fixed income , the money ran out. Perhaps next year.
Tremendous job. Dan gave me the best price out of the three masons that i talked to. solid work!
