Dario's Home Improvement Inc

A $60,710 basement conversion in Danvers, permitted in 2023, is the largest of the three jobs BuildZoom lists for Dario's Home Improvement — a Methuen general contractor run by Dario Lora. The other two date to 2020: a $31,450 Danvers permit covering roof, siding, kitchen and bath repairs, and a $13,900 interior update in Revere. BuildZoom also lists a Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration for the company, #172743, and scores it 93, which it ranks in the top 27% of Massachusetts contractors. That spread of work suits a homeowner who wants one contractor handling several trades on a single project — a basement build-out, or exterior and interior repairs bundled together. Before you sign anything, look up registration #172743 on the state's registry yourself, ask for a current certificate of insurance, and ask Dario to put you in touch with the homeowners on those Danvers jobs.
