David J Smith, Owner

A $46,000 kitchen and main-bathroom remodel in Byfield, completed in 2018 — that is the permitted job filed under David J Smith's name. The business runs out of 41 Piedmont Street in Methuen, owned by David Smith and filed as a remodeling contractor. Its BuildZoom page lists kitchen, bathroom and basement remodels, whole-home remodels and additions, and lists a Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #141554. For a kitchen-and-bath project on the scale of that Byfield job, ask him to walk you through it — scope, schedule, and who handled the plumbing and electrical. Look the registration number up in the state register yourself, ask for a certificate of insurance, and have the contract set the payment stages before demolition starts. The number listed for him is (978) 994-1497.
