Deluxe General Services

Deluxe General Services paints houses out of Norwood, and carries the work that tends to come with a paint job: drywall and plaster, hardwood floor refinishing, custom carpentry, handyman jobs and cleaning. The company says it has been doing this for 20 years, and lists fifteen Greater Boston towns it works in, from Cambridge and Brookline out to Framingham, Quincy and Revere. Its written history is short and all of a piece — four Google reviews, posted within two days of each other in March 2025, averaging 5 stars. One customer described the team as punctual and careful with everything, down to the finishing; another wrote that they patiently answered all her questions and guided her through the process; a third simply said the work was high quality and that he would hire them again. That is a narrow window to judge a 20-year claim by, so put weight on what you can see for yourself: ask what a quote covers — prep, primer, number of coats — and which of the trades on their list are their own crews rather than subcontractors. Photos or addresses of recent painting work in your own town are the fastest way to close the gap. For a straightforward interior or exterior repaint around Norwood and inside Route 128, they are a reasonable call; agree the scope and the crew in writing before anyone opens a can.
