"You can't hire a better painter," one homeowner wrote about Larry O'Brien in an April 2026 Google review — and ten more since 2024 tell a similar story. O'Brien owns and operates Professional Painting Plus, based in Norwood, Massachusetts and also serving Walpole; the company describes itself as family-run. Reviewers keep hiring him again: several say they've used him on more than one property, including for their own homes and for clients' projects. The jobs described range from a kitchen's walls and ceiling to a stairwell and hallway, a full house interior and exterior, and a stained deck. Across 11 Google reviews from 2024 to 2026 the company holds a 5-star average, with four more 5-star reviews landing in the past few months. The company's site describes an interior-only specialty, but several reviews are about exterior work — a deck, a house exterior, a front door — so it's worth asking directly what he'll take on. Its Better Business Bureau profile puts the company at 42 years in business; its own site says 45. A strong call for an interior or exterior painting job around Norwood or Walpole — confirm the scope of work, and ask about licensing and insurance before booking.
I would highly recommend Larry. He painted my Baywindow, Deck, Shed, and front door. Would never utilize anyone else but him. So talented, he has been blessed to paint. Outstanding attention to detail, you will not be disappointed with his work. He’s your go to Painter.
Larry is a perfectionist who goes above and beyond to make sure the work is completed perfectly. He shows up when he says he will. Professional, trustworthy, respectful and extremely customer oriented. He's the Best of the Best! Alex G.
